How two hearts became one
Our paths crossed and from that very first moment, something just felt right. What started as a spark quickly grew into something neither of us could deny. Little did we know, this was the start of the greatest adventure of our lives.
Our first baby girl came into the world and changed everything. Jayleena made us a family, and we fell in love all over again — this time as parents. She made our hearts grow in ways we never imagined possible.
We bought our very first house together — a huge step for our growing family. Walking out of Coldwell Banker with those keys in hand, it hit us that we were really building a life together. A place to call our own, a place to raise our girls, a place where a lifetime of memories would be made.
With fireworks about to light up the sky for the 4th of July, I asked the most important question of my life — and she said yes. The best decision I ever made was asking Patricia to be mine forever.
On the beautiful shores of Myrtle Beach, North Carolina, we said "I do." Surrounded by our loved ones and the most important people in our lives, we made it official. The best day of our lives.
Our family grew again with the arrival of sweet Graycie. Another beautiful girl to fill our home with even more love, laughter, and joy. Jayleena became the proudest big sister.
Our littlest love, Emersyn, arrived and made our family complete. Three beautiful daughters, one incredible wife, and a life I wouldn't trade for anything in this world.

I didn't know it at the time, but the day I met Patricia was the day my life truly began. There are moments that define who you are and who you're meant to become, and meeting her was mine. From that very first conversation, something just clicked. She had this smile that could light up any room, and a heart bigger than anyone I'd ever known. I knew right then — this girl was special.
I was so nervous I thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest. We already had our beautiful Jayleena, and life was amazing, but I wanted to make it official. I wanted the world to know that this woman was my everything. When I got down on one knee, and she said yes with tears in her eyes, I felt like the luckiest man on the planet. The fireworks the next day had nothing on what I felt in that moment.
Myrtle Beach. The sand. The ocean. The love of my life walking toward me in that dress. I'll never forget the way she looked at me, the way everything else just disappeared. In that moment, it was just us. Our vows weren't just words — they were promises that I intend to keep for the rest of my life. She is my person, my partner, my best friend. And on that day, she became my wife.
Trish, if you're reading this, I want you to know something. Every single day I wake up grateful that you chose me. You've given me three incredible daughters, a home full of love, and a life I never thought I deserved. You are the strongest, most beautiful, most caring person I know. You hold this family together with a grace that amazes me. I love you more today than yesterday, and I'll love you more tomorrow than today. She came into this world a little early — premature, but perfect from day one. Jayleena didn't just make us parents; she made us believe in a kind of love we never knew existed. From her very first breath, she was a fighter, and she hasn't stopped proving that since.
This is the girl who could spell E-A-G-L-E-S before she could spell her own name. The girl who fell head over heels in love with horses the very first time she saw one — and never looked back. What started as a toddler's wide-eyed fascination became a lifelong passion. Now at 12 years old, Jayleena has been riding and competing for four years, earning multiple first-place ribbons, a Grand Champion title, and even qualifying for Regionals. Her love for horses might just rival our love for her — and that's saying something.
But it's not just the arena where she shines. Jayleena has excelled as a student, as a big sister to Graycie and Emersyn, and as a young lady who makes Trish and me proud every single day. She was my first daughter, and for that, she holds a place in my heart that no one could ever take away. I just wish she'd stop growing so fast — she's almost taller than Trish now. Either way, we are so incredibly proud of the young woman she's becoming. Twelve years ago, she made us both parents, and we've been grateful every day since.

From our tiny miracle to an incredible young lady
Graycie is the one who made Jayleena a big sister — and in doing so, she changed the whole dynamic of our family in the most beautiful way. From the moment she arrived, wrapped in Eagles green of course, she brought an energy into our home that hasn't slowed down since. Friendly, outgoing, and bursting with personality, Graycie is a light that simply cannot be missed.
Between her amazing dance skills and her incredible people skills, this girl was born to shine. She will say the most heartwarming, unexpected things out of nowhere — the kind of words that stop you in your tracks and make you realize just how special she is. She'll compliment just about every stranger she walks by, and she means every word of it. If you're wearing anything Eagles, I can promise you she will shout "GO BIRDS!" from as far away as she can spot a fellow fan. Same goes for anyone in Capitals gear — "GO CAPS!" echoes through parking lots, grocery stores, you name it. That's just Graycie.
While Jayleena found her passion in horses, Graycie has carved her own path through dance — and we love that both girls are so dedicated to their own hobbies and after-school activities. But where Graycie truly stepped up was when Emersyn was born. This girl literally loves babies and young children with her whole heart. Even when a little one is pulling her hair or climbing all over her, she just laughs it off and keeps right on playing. She has this natural gift for soothing and caring for kids that goes beyond her years. She took the biggest step up as a big sister, and she wears that title with so much pride and love.
